Frontier Airlines announced Thursday an aggressive growth plan across the United States with 42 new routes, including 10 to the Philadelphia International Airport.
The low-cost carrier said the new nonstop services to 42 markets throughout the country, including Austin, Texas, Charlotte, N.C., and Portland, will start in April.
Ten of the 42 flights will be new Frontier destinations to Philadelphia:
- Austin, Texas
- Cincinnati
- Cleveland, Oh.
- Kansas City, Mo.
- Milwaukee
- Nashville, Tenn.
- New Orleans
- Raleigh-Durham, N.C.
- St. Augustine, Fla.
- Indianapolis
“Travelers between big cities have enjoyed low fares while many markets have remained overpriced and underserved,” Frontier Airlines President Barry Biffle said in a statement. “Frontier’s low fares in these new markets will benefit millions of new fliers who are forced to drive because they haven’t found affordable air travel options, or they simply stay at home."
