Foggy Start as Temps Climb Wednesday

Foggy conditions created poor visibility for drivers heading to work in the greater Philadelphia region Wednesday morning.

The National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory, lasting until 6 a.m. Wednesday, for multiple counties in South Jersey including Atlantic, Ocean, Cape May and Burlington.

Visibility may be less than .25 miles at some points, creating difficult conditions for drivers, the NWS warned.

Commuters on the roads before 8 a.m. might see some rain. Patchy fog will remain until around 10 a.m. as temperatures continue to climb to a high around 60 degrees Wednesday afternoon.

The surprisingly warm weather-- coming only a week after the largest snowfall of the season -- will linger through the week, although temperatures will drop to the 30s overnight Wednesday.

Expect temps to hit the low 50s on a sunny Thursday. We'll reach the mid-50s Friday before rain moves in Saturday.
