A coroner says two brothers were killed in a tire explosion on a Pennsylvania farm.
The Cumberland County coroner's office said the 19-year-old and 14-year-old victims were changing a tire on a manure spreader on the Lower Mifflin Township farm in central Pennsylvania when the tire exploded.
Coroner Charley Hall said both brothers were thrown by the 8:30 p.m. Monday blast and were pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma.
Hall identified the older victim as 19-year-old Douglas Strite of Mercersburg. The name of the 14-year-old victim wasn't released, but Hall identified him as Strite's brother and said he also lived in Mercersburg.
