Elderly Man Shoots Relative During Dispute: Police

Authorities in southeastern Pennsylvania said an elderly man shot and wounded a relative during a family dispute and later shot and wounded himself.

Officials in Chester County said both men were hospitalized in "very critical" condition after the gunfire just before midnight Saturday in Tredyffrin Township.

Police said the 70-year-old man opened fire during an argument over money with the 49-year-old man.

Officers said they later found the shooter at a nearby address on the same block, but as they arrived he fired several times, shooting himself in the head.

Police are asking for anyone with information about the shooting to call investigators.
