State police say they've found two bodies inside a northeastern Pennsylvania home after it was surrounded by troopers who heard a gunshot.
Troopers from the Hazleton barracks responded to the residence in Dorrance Township about 6:10 p.m. Wednesday. That's because someone had called to report an unresponsive person at that address.
Emergency responders heard a gunshot from inside the home as they arrived, prompting the state police to summon a Special Emergency Response Team, which is similar to a SWAT unit.
