A Delaware teenager has been arrested in the death of his father.
Delaware State Police say the 17-year-old Harrington boy was arrested Thursday after troopers went to his home looking for his father. The troopers had been responding to calls from worried co-workers reporting that the man had failed to show up for work for a couple days.
After arresting the 17-year-old, troopers went inside the house and found his father dead in his bedroom. Police say he had an undetermined wound to his upper torso, and that an autopsy will determine how he died.
The teen was charged with first-degree murder. He's being held at a juvenile detention facility without bail.
Police say they're not sure what the motive was and that the investigation continues.
