Fiery Crash Snarls Traffic Leaving Maroon 5's Atlantic City Beach Concert

A fiery three-vehicle crash snarled traffic leaving the Maroon 5 beach concert in Atlantic City and left five people hurt.

Absecon Police said 27-year-old Corey Thacker of Little Egg Harbor apparently ran a red light in front of the Home Depot on Absecon Boulevard (U.S. Route 30) around 8:30 p.m. Sunday.

Thacker's Dodge Caravan struck a Nissan Altima attempting to make a left turn and then a Ford Explorer before the minivan burst into flames.

the wreck left five people hurt with undisclosed injuries.

Police charged Thacker with driving while intoxicated, refusing to take a breath test, reckless driving and disregard of a traffic signal. It is not known if he has a lawyer who can comment on the charges.

Maroon 5 drew more than 50,000 people for the concert.
