Councilman Bobby Henon introduced legislation on Thursday that, if passed, removes many of the regulatory hurdles preventing a billboard from going up along a stretch of Interstate 95 in Northeast Philadelphia.
The bill would rezone a chunk of land in the Holmesburg section of the city, clearing a path for businesses to construct a billboard in an area near the Philadelphia Industrial Correction Center on State Road, according to PlanPhilly.com.
