Authorities in a central Pennsylvania county are investigating the death of an 83-year-old prison inmate.
Investigators say James Bolton was found dead early Sunday morning in his cell in Dauphin County Prison.
Bolton had been an inmate there since January 2013. He was arrested in 2011 and pleaded guilty to charges of indecent assault on a person under 16, corruption of minors and unlawful contact with a minor. He had been sentenced to 6 to 23 months in prison.
The county coroner's office plans an autopsy.
