Young Boy Hospitalized After Fall

6-year-old in stable condition after fall out second-story window

A 6-year-old boy has been hospitalized after falling out of a second-story window in North Philadelphia Saturday morning.

Investigators say that the boy, whose name has not been released, was cleaning a window in a home at 2323 North Gratz Street when the window screen gave way as he was pushing on it. As a result, the boy went tumbling to the concrete yard below.

The boy was taken to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, where he is listed as being in stable condition with stomach pain.

Investigators say that the boy's mother is at the hospital with him. There has been no word if any charges will be filed.
