A woman was found shot to death in an alley in the Nicetown section of Philadelphia early Saturday morning, according to Northwest Detectives.
Police say that the 46-year-old woman was found dead in an alley on the 4200-block of Wayne Avenue around 2 a.m.
The victim's family, who's asked that the victim not be identified, told NBC10's Marissa Brahney that she was a mother of nine and was well-liked in the community.
"She had nothing, she had nothing. She didn't deserve this," the victim's cousin told NBC10. "...Whoever did this, I hope they find you and you pay for what you did to her."
Police continue to investigate the shooting. If you have any information, you're urged to call 911.
