Philly's favorite convenience store is celebrating 51 years of business by offering free coffee to customers on April 16.
To mark the day the first store opened in 1964, Wawa is handing out more than 1.5 million cups of Joe -- free of charge! Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter is set to proclaim April 16 as WawaDay and help pour the first coffees when the day-long event kicks off at 8 a.m.
Customers can get any size coffee, iced or hot, store officials said.
