Police say a rock, rather than a bullet, struck a SEPTA bus traveling through Northeast Philadelphia.
On Saturday, around 10 p.m., a passenger on a Route 20 bus traveling on the 6900 block of Roosevelt Boulevard, told police that they heard a gunshot strike the bus.
While police initially believed the incident was a shooting, after further investigation they determined that someone had thrown a rock at the bus instead.
About 50 passengers were on board at the time. No one was injured during the incident.
Police tell NBC10 they are currently searching for a group of juveniles who were in the area at the time.
