Funeral for Firefighter Who Died After Battling Blaze

Services have been scheduled to honor a New Jersey firefighter who died battling a weekend blaze in a Jersey shore town that's still rebuilding from Superstorm Sandy.

The Union Beach Fire Department will remember Robert Meyer during a service on Friday night and his funeral will be held on Saturday.

Meyer had lost his own house in Sandy and had just moved into a rebuilt home last week.

The 54-year-old volunteer firefighter died Sunday night while fighting a four-alarm fire at a commercial building.

Investigators have not ruled out a broken wire in an electrical feed running into the building as the cause of the fire.

Gov. Chris Christie has ordered flags at the Statehouse to fly at half-staff from Friday until June 19 in Meyer's honor.
