Search Resumes for Woman Missing Since January

Lumberton Police resumed their search for a 61-year-old woman who has been missing since the beginning of the year.

Investigators say Angelina β€œAngel” Cocuzza disappeared from her home at the Lumberton Independent Living campus on Route 38 near Madison Avenue on Jan. 18.

Family members and police believe she may have intended to harm herself after leaving her residence.

She is described as 5-foot-5 inches tall and weighs approximately 115 pounds. Police say Cocuzza suffers from depression as well as other medical conditions which place her in jeopardy. Cocuzza does not own a car or a cell phone and is not believed to be able to travel too far without assistance. Police say she may have cut her hair very short.
