Rutgers Signs Stadium Rights Deal With IT Provider SHI

    Rutgers University's football stadium has a new name.

    The state university announced Friday that is has signed a multiyear deal with IT provider SHI International Corp.

    The 52,000-seat stadium is home to Rutgers football and men's and women's lacrosse. Technology company High Point Solutions has held the naming rights since 2011.

    The first event held at SHI Stadium will be on Aug. 30 when Rutgers hosts Massachusetts.
