A Philadelphia Police officer was hurt after an alleged drunk driver rammed her police cruiser overnight.
The officer was making an unrelated traffic stop along the Roosevelt Boulevard near Large Street in the Oxford Circle section of Northeast Philly around 1:45 p.m. when another driver hit her cruiser causing her to fall to the ground.
The officer suffered only minor injuries and didn’t need go to the hospital, according to Philadelphia Police.
The driver was arrested and charged with DUI. His name wasn’t released.
No word on the reason for the original traffic stop.
