An unsightly mess was on display in the Gallery at Market East last night.
A group of kids decided to redecorate the retail center at 9th an Market Street with refuse.
Witnesses say a pack of 20 teens made their way to the second level of the mall around 7:30 p.m. on Friday. A garbage can full of trash was then thrown from the second floor down to the first floor.
Nobody was hit by the can, but flying garbage fell on several shoppers.
The group quickly ran, but police were able to nab 9 before they escaped. Those caught included two 17-year-old males, two 16-year-old males, four 15-year-olds, and one 14-year-old.
