One person was shot while another was stabbed at a playground in Allentown early Tuesday evening.
Investigators say an unidentified gunman opened fire shortly before 7 p.m. on the basketball courts at Roosevelt Playground on 802 South Filmore Street. One person was struck in the shoulder in the shooting. The victim was taken to the hospital. Officials have not yet revealed his or her condition.
Investigators also say a second person was stabbed on the courts as the shooting took place. Officials say the second victim fled the scene after the stabbing. They have not yet revealed his or her condition.
No arrests have been made in the shooting or stabbing. Police continue to investigate.
