Nothing From QVC Is Free

One worker at QVC was allegedly doing more than selling, she was taking as well.

Jennifer John of Broomall, Pa. worked for QVC. She allegedly stole at least $200,000 worth of merchandise between November and mid-January from QVC's West Chester studio, according to Philly.com.

John’s theft was discovered when a state trooper saw the 39-year-old woman unloading large amounts of similar jewelry to a pawn shop at the Granite Run Mall.

"It's common for us to look at a lot of pawn shops and look for anything we think is suspicious," said trooper Robert Kirby to Philly.com.

Police investigated further and found out that the jewelry was confirmed as stolen by QVC. They searched Johns’s home to find $13,000 in cash and stolen QVC merchandise totaling to about $125,000, said Philly.com.

John was arrested of Feb. 4 and was in Delaware County prison with a $100,000 bail.

The kicker on this caper -- this wasn't the first time John was busted for allegedly stealing from her job. She was already out on bail for allegedly swiping $250,000 from a Lower Merion real-estate-management company where she used to work.
