New Jersey Woman Searches For Owner of Lost Necklace With Urn and Wedding Band Attached to It

The necklace had what appeared to be a wedding band, an urn of ashes and a golden cross attached to it

A New Jersey woman is searching for the owner of a piece of jewelry that she found on the beach.

Amy Feisel, of Deptford, New Jersey, was on the beach in Sea Isle City about noon June 29 when she noticed a silver chain necklace in the sand.

Unlike other decorative jewelry, the necklace had what appeared to be a wedding band, an urn of ashes and a golden cross attached to it.

"It looked very sentimental to me,” Feisel said.

According to Feisel, the wedding band seems to be masculine and a large ring size.

"It still smells like cologne,” she said.

Feisel posted a picture of necklace on Facebook on July 8 in hopes of finding the owner.

So far, she has received no information about who owns the necklace, but her friend sent the Facebook post to the Sea Isle City Police Department’s Facebook page.
