Nazareth Woman Arrested for ‘Jerk' Text

Police say the 45-year-old violated an order to have no contact with her ex-boyfriend.

Police say a Nazareth woman was arrested Monday for violating a police order to cease contact with her ex-boyfriend, reports the Morning Call.

On Saturday around 2:30 a.m., 45-year-old Kimberly Bush sent a text to her ex. The text read “jerk,” according to the arrest affidavit obtained by the paper.

Normally, such a text message would not seem out of the ordinary between exes, but in this case, it left ex-boyfriend David Gosnell, Sr., a little spooked.

Police say that Gosnell was worried after receiving the text and that he felt Bush was lurking outside of his home that night, reports the Morning Call.

Just last Thursday, Bush was charged with entering Gosnell's house unlawfully on June 4 to recover a DVD, according to the paper.

Bush was arraigned and released on $2500 with the condition she would no longer contact Gosnell.

Texting him was a clear violation of that condition.
