Man Stabbed in Parking Lot of Tri-State Mall

The Delaware State Police says detectives are investigating a stabbing that happened in the parking lot of the Tri-State Mall in Claymont and left a 27-year-old man in serious condition.

The stabbing happened around 2:15 a.m. Saturday when the man and a group of friends were leaving the Simba Grill inside the mall. The man separated from the group and walked to an unknown location of the parking lot. He returned a few minutes later suffering from multiple stab wounds, and friends took him to the hospital. The man, a resident of Newark, was admitted in serious condition.

Troopers do not have a description of the suspect but are continuing to investigate.
