A man is dead after a shooting in the Hunting Park section of the city.
It happened early Sunday morning on the 4800 block of North Franklin Street. Police say a 20-year-old man was shot in the chest. He was taken to Einstein Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The shooting happened one block away from where another person was killed back on August 17. During that shooting, which happened on 8th and Rockland, a man was sitting on his front porch when he was shot and killed.
No arrests have been made. Police continue to search for suspects.
