It sounds almost comical, but for customers, employees and police at a Montgomery County Target, an incident involving a dead snake and sledgehammer was anything but.
Police say that last Saturday a man carrying a dead snake used a sledgehammer to bust through a window at the Target on Route 100 in West Pottsgrove Township, according to The Times Herald.
Authorities were called and the store was placed on lockdown until they arrived and Tasered the suspect who was giving officers a hard time, reports the paper.
"The male became non-compliant with officers' directions, but was detained after being Tasered..." police said in a press release.
The man, who has not been identified yet, is facing multiple charges, including criminal mischief.
