Fire in High School Bathroom Ruled Arson

State Fire Marshal's Office says a fire in a high school bathroom was deliberately set.

Authorities say a fire alarm went off at Glasgow High School in Newark about 10:30 a.m. Monday. Officials say firefighters found smoke conditions in the school.

The students, alerted by the alarm, left the building in an orderly fashion and no one was hurt. Damage was estimated at $5,000.

The fire marshal says someone intentionally lighted combustible materials in a second-floor bathroom.
