Female Robber Targets Center City Bank: Cops

Police are on the hunt for a woman who they say robbed a Philadelphia bank.

Police are on the hunt for a woman who they say robbed a Philadelphia bank.

It happened around 1:50 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Bank on 2005 Market Street. Police say the woman entered the bank and presented a threatening demand note to a teller. She then allegedly took an undisclosed amount of cash before running away on foot. Police say she was last seen going east on Market.

The woman is described as a dark skinned black female in her 30’s, standing 5-foot-5 with long, dark hair and numerous moles covering her face.

Police say she was last seen wearing navy blue pants and a blazer. They also say she may have been accompanied by a black male wearing a white shirt, black fedora and black pants.
