Ex Robs Exotic Dancer in Big Beaver: Police

A stripper in Big Beaver was assaulted and robbed by her ex-boyfriend lying in wait in her car, police say

Pennsylvania State Police are searching for the ex-boyfriend of an exotic dancer in Big Beaver, Pa. after he allegedly robbed her after hiding in her SUV.

Police in Big Beaver say 29-year-old Larry Shaffer Jr., of New Castle, was hiding in the rear cargo area of the woman’s sports utility vehicle when the victim left the Club Escape Gentleman's Club about 4:15 a.m. Saturday.

When the woman drove away and hit the northbound lane of Big Beaver Boulevard, Shaffer allegedly moved into the front passenger seat frightening the victim, reports the Beaver County Times.

While the 21-year-old woman was still driving, Shaffer began hitting her in the head and demanding money. The woman narrowly avoided colliding with a tractor-trailer as Shaffer assaulted her, reports the Post-Gazette.

Shaffer allegedly tried to gain control of the vehicle by pushing his foot on the gas pedal, and only stopped when the victim promised she would drive him home, reports the Post-Gazette.

Instead, she drove back to the strip club and yelled for help, at which time Shaffer ran away with about $500 police say he stole from the woman.

Police on Monday say he remains at large. A warrant is out for his arrest, on charges of robbery, terroristic threats, theft by unlawful taking, and other offenses, reports the Post-Gazette.
