Ex-Boyfriend Arrested for Killing 16-Year-Old: Cops

Police have arrested an 18-year-old man with killing his 16-year-old ex-girlfriend in a southeastern
Pennsylvania alley
.

Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman says Brandon Tremayne Pierce fatally shot Dominique Devlin in July in retaliation for setting him up to be robbed a few weeks earlier.

Devlin was found dead in a Norristown alley on July 20. During the course of the investigation into her death, authorities say they linked Devlin to a planned home invasion targeting Pierce.

Investigators say Pierce learned of his ex-girlfriend's involvement and lured her to the alley before shooting her three times.

Pierce was arrested Thursday and held without bail on murder charges. Court records do not list an attorney for him.
