    Chester Police Officer Charged With Demanding Sex Acts From Detained Women

    A Philadelphia-area police officer is accused of demanding sexual favors from three women detained inside the police department.

    Prosecutors say 37-year-old Roosevelt Turner is charged with official oppression, indecent exposure and indecent assault. The charges are based on separate encounters in 2015.

    District Attorney Jack Whelan describes Turner as a seven-year veteran of the Chester Police Department.

    Turner has posted $25,000 bail after his arrest Thursday. He has a preliminary hearing set for March 23.
