Philadelphia Police Department Special Victims Unit investigators searched for a man who assaulted a teenage girl along a Northeast Philadelphia street.
A 15-year-old girl told police that a man in his late 20s or early 30s approached her along Castor Avenue, near Glendale Avenue, around 4 p.m. Monday.
The girl said the man then indecently assaulted the girl before fleeing the scene, which is a few blocks from Northeast Philadelphia High School. It wasn’t clear if the girl is a student at the school.
Police described the suspect as having a stocky build and standing around 6-foot, 2-inches tall with a thin beard. He wore a black hoodie, dark jeans and dark shoes at the time of the attack, said investigators.
