Police are investigating a shootout in Southwest Philadelphia that they believe may have been drug-related.
The shooting happened just before 11 p.m. Wednesday at a home on the 7400-block of Medrick Place in the Eastwick section of the city.
Police tell NBC10 that residents heard a knock on the front door, when they opened it, three masked men stormed inside and that's when a shootout ensued.
Three men were injured in the shooting.
Two victims were found inside the home. A third was discovered outside. Investigators say this man did not live at the house and is being considered a suspect.
All three men were transported to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania with gunshot wounds to the leg. They are in stable, but critical condition.
Police are securing a search warrant for the home. Marijuana was in plain sight leading investigators to believe the shooting was drug-related. They say that it's possible the men inside the home were packaging the pot and that could have been a reason for the home invasion.
