Human brains are changing thanks to the Internet a study says.

Is the Internet actually changing the human species?

A new study from UCLA says we're actually evolving.  Researches speculate computer skills improve our ability to make quick decisions and efficient filtering information.

There is a catch though.  Researchers say too many computer users are losing face-to-face social skills because they spend so much time alone.  The study, the first of its kind to assess the impact of Internet searching on brain performance.

"Our most striking finding was that Internet searching appears to engage a greater extent of neural circuitry that is not activated during reading -- but only in those with prior Internet experience," said Small, who is also the director of UCLA's Memory and Aging Research Center.
