TRENTON, N.J. - Drugmaker Wyeth, which is being acquired by drug giant Pfizer, today posted a flat first-quarter profit but beat analysts' expectations, as cost cuts offset lower revenue, particularly for its top seller, blockbuster antidepressant Effexor.
