Dow Chemical makes first dividend cut in 97 years

MIDLAND, Mich. - Dow Chemical, which is locked in a fight with Philadelphia-based Rohm & Haas over a stalled takeover bid, is cutting its quarterly dividend for the first time in 97 years.
