CEDC says ’08 sales up, but 4Q loss at $82.6M

Bala Cynwyd-based distiller Central European Distribution Corp. today reported sharply higher sales for 2008, thanks in part to growing market share for its vodka in Russia, but said it lost $82.6 million for the fourth quarter, and $16.6 million, or 38 cents per share, for the year.
