The Bomb Disposal Unit was called to the McGuire Air Force Base in Burlington County after a report was made about a suspicious package.
The call was made around 6:50 p.m. after the package was spotted near the freight terminal.
The terminal was evacuated. Officials say that they activated their emergency operations center.
The Bomb Disposal Unit eventually determined that the package was neither explosive or hazardous and the all-clear was sounded around 8:30 p.m.
There is no word on what the package actually was.
