A 3-year-old North Philadelphia girl was in critical condition after falling three stories from a window Monday night.
The fall happened around 7 p.m. on the 1500 block of N Gratz Street, Philadelphia Police said.
The girl was in her third floor bedroom when she somehow pushed through a window screen and fell onto the ground below, according to police.
The exact details leading up to the fall weren't immediately clear.
"I came back outside and I see everybody run out the house and they put her in an ambulance and pulled off," said neighbor Tina Maldonado.
The girl was taken to Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania with a broken arm and massive head injuries, cops said.
