Teen Mom Strangles Newborn, Dumps Body at New Jersey Home: Prosecutors

Prosecutors in South Jersey charged a teenage mother with strangling her infant daughter.

Jade Fanz, 19, killed her newborn β€œby applying pressure to the throat” until the baby died, said the Gloucester County Prosecutors Office.

The Franklin Township woman also tried to conceal the girl’s death by hiding the body on her family’s Prospect Avenue property, said prosecutors. The body was found on Feb. 27.

Fanz was sent to county jail on $250,000 bail as she awaits murder and related charges.
