Win Tix to Craft's 10th Birthday in NYC

Next week, Tom Colicchio's landmark New York restaurant Craft turns ten years old. To celebrate, Colicchio has gathered Craft alums and staffers including David Chang, Marco Canora, Jonathan Benno, Karen DaMasco, and Ahktar Nawab to each prepare a course at a 10-course special birthday celebration at the restaurant on Monday, March 7.

In our own celebration of Craft, we're spending the next few days with these alums, reminiscing about great (terrible) kitchen moments. We asked Chang yesterday to tell us about a time that he almost got fired at Craft and his initial response was, "I almost got fired most nights I worked there." But, here, more specifically, Chang sets the scene one fateful night, when then-chef Marco Canora asked his young disciple to make gnocchi.

Finally, about that contest! We're giving away a pair of tickets to the dinner to a lucky reader of The Feast. Contest specifics will be announced shortly on the site as well as on Twitter. If you'd rather bypass all that and buy the tickets—$500 a pop—here are the details:

Monday, March 7; Reception: 6:30pm; Dinner: 7pm. $500/pp
Craft: 47 East 19th Street (between Park & Broadway), New York, NY
