Thursday: Pink Party in Glen Mills

On Thursday, October 13, the Glen Mills women's clothing and accessories boutique, Mykonos, will host its third annual "Pink Party," a breast cancer fund-raising event. Mykonos store owner Barbara Robbins (herself a breast cancer survivor) will be serving up complimentary hors d'oeuvres during the event, plus pink-colored cocktails, prizes, and raffles. Better still, a portion of the entire day's sales will be donated to two local women who are currently battling breast cancer.

The boutique carries contemporary designers like Johnny Was, Joie, Nation for Love and Liberty, Rebecca Taylor, and Jakket; the latter designer is a new addition to the Glen Mills boutique, and boasts edgy motorcycle-style jackets crafted from machine washable leather.
