The Best Bargain

"Little" spot offers big savings

When a restaurant is named one of the best seafood restaurants in the country by Bon Appetit magazine, you expect to pay a pretty penny for a meal there. This isn't always the way in a city where new culinary talents like to create a neighborhood vibe and take pride in keeping prices reasonable. The latter particularly applies at the Queen Village BYOB that ranked third in Bon Appetit's list.

On Sundays, now-famous seafood restaurant Little Fish offers a $28 prix-fixe dinner. The five-course meal highlights the dishes that garnered the eatery national attention and the BOYB policy ensures you won't get gouged for a bottle.

The Sunday special keeps out-of-town gawkers at bay and further drives home the message that this restaurant is first and foremost a place for the people who live in the 'hood. And you thought Restaurant Week was a bargain.
