Six months ago, William Frey, Ph.D., was global biofuels director at the DuPont Co. in Wilmington. Today, Frey is chief executive officer at Qteros Inc., Amherst, Mass., whose assets include "this unique microbe we have that makes ethanol" from corn, sugarcane and tree waste, for use as fuel, co-founder Jef Sharp told me.
