There's still money in the deal pipeline. Tengion Inc., an East Norriton firm that makes human- organ-repair systems at its plant in Winston-Salem, N.C., says it has raised $21 million from locally based Quaker BioVentures Inc. and Safeguard Scientifics Inc., and from Bain Capital Partners L.L.C., Johnson & Johnson Development Corp., and four other venture firms.
