Molly Malloy's Opens This Week

The beloved Beer Garden in the Reading Terminal Market has been replaced by Molly Malloy's, which is opening this week. The new spot is now owned by the Iovine brothers, who have kept the southeast corner of RTM on lockdown for years with their spectacular produce stand.

Molly Malloy's, which is named for the Iovines' mother, features an extensive comfort food menu developed by Chef Bobby Fisher, and has 24 beers on tap to wash down all that soulful goodness. Fisher has taken classics and given them a high-end spin, like Not Yo Mama's Grilled Cheese which is stuffed with goat cheese and black pepper fennel onion jam.

Fisher, who won the 2011 Scrapplefest with his Brioche and Sunnyside Egg Scrapple Sandwich, was the former chef at the Iovines' catering business, and plans to keep the menu fresh with rotating seasonal dishes. The restaurant will also go big on happy hour, which will be a daily affair from 4-6 p.m. every day. Click below for the full menu. [The Feast]
