Writer, designer and socialite Gloria Vanderbilt has died, her son Anderson Cooper announced on CNN Monday. The 95-year-old "lived her entire life in the public eye," Cooper said, referring to a custody battle over the young Vanderbilt that consumed her wealthy family.
