Doc Martens is coming to Walnut Street, reports the Philadelphia Business Journal. The new store will take up residence at 1710 Walnut, adding a bit of a punk/skin edge to the otherwise highbrow shopping district.
A long-term lease was signed for the 3,800 square-foot space formerly occupied by the furniture/housewares store, Design Within Reach. The Philadelphia location will mark the brand's fifth U.S. store, following New York City, Portland, San Francisco, and Seattle.
For those of you seeking work (or just a store discount), Dr. Martens is seeking a Retail Store Manager for the Walnut Street shop.
