The body of a man who went missing after a Super Bowl party last February was found near 30th Street station on Saturday, according to investigators.
Investigators say Gregory Andino, 38, left his home around 3 p.m. on February 2 to watch the Super Bowl with his friends at an unknown location.
Andino spoke with his wife around 3:30 a.m. on February 3. Investigators say Andino told her he was driving and on his way to pick her up when his phone went dead.
Around 4:45 a.m. that same morning, State Police responded to a car crash at I-76 West and 30th Street Station. When they arrived, they found Andino's black 2006 GMC Denali.
Investigators say the driver side airbag was deployed and there was heavy front end damage.
Police say they also found Andino’s belongings inside the vehicle. Officials searched the surrounding area as well as local hospitals but Andino was nowhere to be found.
On Saturday, a body was discovered near 30th and Walnut Streets. On Wednesday, the Medical Examiner identified the body as Andino. Investigators have not yet revealed the cause or manner of death. They continue to investigate.
