Jon just wants to be an Average Joe.
Reality TV dad Jon Gosselin said he's living a "nightmare" and he wishes he could be a regular workaday guy like everyone else.
"I wish I had a 9-to-5 job instead of the nightmare I'm living," he told Usmagazine.com. "This is 24/7. I don't even want to do taping for the show anymore."
Gosselin said he has no choice but to shoot the wildly popular TLC show "Jon & Kate Plus 8" because it pays the bills -- and he's otherwise unemployed.
"I have two houses and eight children to take care of and I need to work," he told Usmagazine.
The octodad was warned by the cable network last month that he needs to put the brakes on reveling in his new-found bachelorhood by cutting back on the booze-fueled nights out. TLC claimed he was in violation of his contract.
Jon is currently on an allowance and has to share his revenue with ex-wife Kate and there is some speculation the couple has already spent most of what they earned from the current season.
