The exclusive interview will air on the “Today” show and “Dateline” in the coming days.
“That was always a dream of mine, to have a large family, a huge family, and — I just longed for certain connections and attachments with another person that I really lacked, I believe, growing up,” Nadya told Ann in an excerpt from the interview.
She added that she felt like she was lacking a “feeling of self and identity,” calling her childhood “pretty dysfunctional.”
She first became pregnant after seven years of trying, thanks to in vitro fertilization — and said she knew she wanted to do it again.
“Then I just kept going [back],” she said.
The new mom was discharged from the hospital early Thursday after giving birth to six boys and two girls on January 26.
